Halfway between the South Devon coast and Dartmoor National Park, the traditional stone built cottage was built around 1500 and situated in the picturesque village of Abbotskerswell.

The cottage comprises of a self contained 2 bedroom unit, with en-suite facilities and a separate lounge and small kitchenette. It also has a further self contained twin/double room, with en-suite facilities, TV and tea/coffee making facilities.

It is close to the English Riveria Torquay (2 miles) and market town of Newton Abbot (2 miles) with many other places of interest to see and visit, including the historic towns of Totnes and Dartmouth.

The area is also blessed with at least 6 first class golf clubs within a short drive, the closest being Dainton Park just a few minutes away.

Brook Cottage is adjacent to the Butchers Arms, Abbotskerswell and owned by Nigel Ford and Tracy. The Butchers Arms is the essence of South Devon; a beautiful stone built former Smithy (circa 1500).

The restaurant and bar in this traditional English pub are beautifully cosy and rustic, with beamed ceilings, wooden floors and traditional furniture. The warmth from the two fireplaces will be just the thing you need in the colder months, and a large south-facing beer garden is perfect in the summer.

A full range of locally brewed real ales are available throughout the year. The restaurant menu includes a sumptuous range of char-grilled quality meats, home cooked specials and simple bar snacks.
